Veterans Day observances set locally
PIGGOTT- The nation will pause to honor those who served, and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, on Tuesday, Nov. 11, with the observance of Veterans Day. The offerings will include an open house at the War Memorial Building in Piggott, and the traditional wreath ceremony at the county courthouse.

Piggott Health System awarded almost $200,000 in opioid settlement dollars
Piggott Health System, a Critical Access Hospital in Clay County, has been awarded almost $200,000 opioid settlement dollars from the Arkansas Opioid Recovery Partnership. Piggott Health System will use this funding to create a Peer Recovery Program.
